Scorching Summertime Sadness
The only thing that causes me sadness in the summertime is the appearance that I have been crying solely because my makeup is melting off my face
A cloud of angst hovers when it’s time to pack for summer travels or even commute to work via that 2 mile walk to the subway then work…
It’s not just about itineraries , rooftops & reservations.
It’s about stocking your handbag properly, half the fun and WORK is in getting there!
Here’s my top favorite pieces for my summer time packing list, after all August is the the girl who scorches.
For the multitaskers carrying the world on their shoulders, no need to weigh your bag down with multiple products!
This baby is for the face & body!
While, you make look a bit ‘extra’ spirtzing thy face in public, it’s totally necessary and a game-changer
One spritz in, and you’ll gain the confidence to strut like a glowing goddess
This product gives you that re-hydrated refreshing feeling you crave while not messing up your make up
My favorite part about this amazing mist is the benefit of Tibetan Ginseng:
Increasing skin cell respiration so cells take in more oxygen resulting in a more youthful, less dull looking appearance.
S’well has been my knight in shining armor, my prince on a white horse, my savior.
These bottles keep your beverage cold all the live long day, and nothing is better than a cool sip of water to get you back on your feet in the midst of a heat wave, so you can actually meet that chivalrous knight.
Oh hail natural deodorant. I have been on a mega holistic health route since 2012 and aluminum-free deodorant is a sought after commodity
A cooling, de-puffing gel stick packed with stimulating caffeine and soothing seawater for energized skin. Store it in the fridge for an extra kick. You can use it as pep-up primer. This product also works great as a re-energizer in that mid-afternoon slump.
My honest to goodness “drug store” go-to has been my savior since the young care free days of middle school. I never hesitate to whip one of these babies out. They COMPLETELY revitalize and refresh my skin and face. As I was doing this with no shame one night a friend in college asked for one. Upon my hesitation for her judgement (she went to high-end spas on the reg) she was astonished and said that was “seriously the best feeling.” Oh to feel like a guru to the girls who already established themselves as one.
We feel you girl. On a real level.
