Leg Up on High Leg Swimwear
Hip-bone grazing, and high-waisted cheeky bikinis and one-pieces made an unapologetic splash. The skimpy statement back again from the 80's and 90's is bidding hello to the ever-swinging pendulum of extreme era's in fashion.
I love a high-cut leg, elongating your lines for endless struts on the beach.
I have honestly been on a hunt for months, that I thought would be so simple. But I am a mega compare shopper and over-thinker. When I shop I have to really love it. And today more than ever we are presented with more options than ever. A high-leg simple bikini bottom opened up a black hole. A welcomed blackhole but a black hole nonetheless.
It also made me realize I need to buy more than just a simple bottom. Perhaps a few bottoms, a top or two, and maybe a new one piece.
I thought I'd share the contenders in my search. Since I am a psycho and saved them all to contemplate. To make matters worse (or better) once I thought I was done searching I got those instagram ads and began to add on to my selections.
I act like this will be the last dip I take forever.
To add more stress to this ridiculously dramatized event-
I have an hour-glass figure and as any body type, it poses its own challenges. Certain cuts dig into the hip that is less than flattering or comfortable.
If the sides are too thick they have a diaper affect that is less than desired.
With a fuller tush you don't exactly want to give away the whole farm at a public rooftop pool.
Many factors to take into account.
Here are some of my favorites:
