It Takes Two, Feel Free to Tango
It's chic, it's fun, it's the two-piece set.
From the excitement and anticipation of the summer season, it can become overwhelming with pairing pieces together. We've all had the trips where we packed individual pieces and never thought through the actual outfits and end up attending dinner with eclectic toddler vibes. Aside from ease of planning or packing, two-piece matching sets ensure just that- they will match EXACTLY!
Nostalgia never falls short with me. And many of these looks pull at the heartstrings of the 1960's & '70s
As a seasoned fashion industry member, I can't begin to describe to you how hard brands work at matching colors of different materials as closely as possible, oftentimes unable to achieve exactness due to the nature of the materials.
The elongated lengths on many of these looks are ideals for city summers, subway riding, climbing stairs with class, and sitting outdoors without your legs ever so elegantly sticking to the surfaces.

Call me an optimist, a dreamer, or perhaps too obsessed with rom-coms but I envision packing a few of these sets for holiday perhaps along the Riviera. The accordion music starts as the sun sets and your beau asks you to dance. Or it's mid-morning and your first round of shopping as drawn to a close as you feel a need for refreshment, and settle for serenity in the outdoor seating of a quaint cafe. The seats are cozily placed outward along the piazza as you smile at the passers-bys. An unexpected strong breeze from the sea whisks your hair in swirls....
REGARDLESS, the situation and all its allure the last worry you will have is your skirt blowing up thanks to the perk of the midi and maxi; plus you will never brood of the possibility of clashing or dressing inappropriately.
These matching pieces with prints give more of a unique look.
As opposed to just printed tops with solid bottoms and vice-versa it is refreshing to see head-to-toe ensembles.
I lost track of the number of times I envisioned an outfit in my head only to find out how horrible it looked on. The shirt was too short, the skirt wasn't high enough and the list goes on.
But when you get the matching-set the tailoring is already done for you,
and oh what a blessing it is. These looks are effortless, yet pulled together for timeless appeal.
